Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driver (Wage) to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a Driver (Wage), you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods in a variety of vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, and multi-passenger vans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport passengers and goods in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, and multi-passenger vans
  • Locate addresses using GPS, navigational systems, and written directions
  • Communicate effectively with clients and staff
  • Assist with inclement weather events, closures, and emergency situations
  • Complete initial and ongoing training and other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Valid Virginia driver's license
  • Free of points for moving offenses
  • No recent history of major driving offenses
  • Demonstrated skills in safely operating passenger vehicles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of address location and navigation
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse customer base
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a transportation or mobility services role
  • Knowledge of GPS and navigational systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
