About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Recovery and Probation Coordinator to join our team at Change Grow Live. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering tailored sessions and activities to support adult males on probation in our region.

  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address the referral requirements and timeframes of our service users.
  • Promote carer, service user, and community involvement to foster a sense of belonging and support.
  • Work with service users to support social reintegration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives.
  • Build therapeutic relationships and deliver a range of services from our CGL Directory, including recognized psychosocial interventions.
  • Create Action Plans to meet the differing intensity requirements of our service users.
  • Assess suitability for group work, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
  • Carry out risk assessments and risk management to ensure a safe environment for our service users.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure that consent to share information is a key element in building trusting therapeutic alliances.

About You:

We are looking for someone with relevant experience in criminal justice, substance misuse, or social care services. You should have a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services.

  • Knowledge of the issues facing offenders, including substance misuse, health, and personal wellbeing.
  • Experience of working with groups or pods and managing group dynamics.
  • Accomplished written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of personal IT competency.
  • The ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, engaging successfully with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • An empathetic and non-judgmental attitude towards service users and colleagues.
