Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Airworthiness Compliance Specialist to join our team at Carbon60 in Hayes, London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain standards for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001).
  • Create and execute internal audit schedules to assess conformity with ISO standards and other regulations.
  • E nsure compliance with various regulations, including Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), and engage with relevant agencies.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on EHS matters, including risk assessment, training, and project consultation.
  • Maintain Integrated Management System procedures for EHS and ensure they are up-to-date.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and stakeholders during inspections, audits, and inquiries.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) related to EHS performance that align with business requirements.
Requirements
  • National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems in a complex, regulated environment, preferably within the aviation MRO industry.
  • Knowledge of COMAH regulations and experience in developing and implementing safety management systems for sites handling hazardous substances and processes.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate EHS initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package, including an annual bonus and discounted flights.
