Job Summary

As a member of the BAE Systems team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft, from design to delivery. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing and maintaining flight certification, safety procedures, and design certification processes. You will work closely with our partners, customers, and internal teams to guarantee the integrity of our products and comply with market legislation and regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

- Establish and maintain flight certification and safety procedures for aircraft development and production.
- Ensure design certification and airworthiness processes are in place and followed.
- Work with customers, partners, and internal teams to agree on flight limitations and certification requirements.
- Develop and implement systems integration and systems engineering techniques to sustain the initial integrity of Air products.
- Conduct validation and challenge of initial evidence, and perform audit and assurance activities.

Requirements

- HND/HNC/Degree or equivalent in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of aircraft avionics and mechanical systems design and aerodynamic disciplines.
- Experience with design configuration control processes and design certification processes.
- Analytical methods to support establishing integrated aircraft level flight limitations.
