Key Responsibilities
As an Alternative Provision Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

* Overseeing the development and implementation of alternative provision programs tailored to students who require non-traditional learning pathways
* Collaborating with external providers to ensure students have access to a broad range of learning opportunities
* Developing individual learning plans (ILPs) for students, working closely with teaching staff, parents, and external providers to set and monitor educational and personal goals
* Regularly assessing student progress and adjusting learning plans to meet evolving needs

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with external providers, parents, and students. You should also have experience in coordinating or working with alternative education pathways, youth work, or similar roles. A clear DBS check and right to work in the UK are also essential requirements.
