About the Role:

We are looking for an Inclusive Education Lead to join our team at Remedy Education. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SENCO to lead our provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading the development and implementation of SEND strategies, managing and coordinating provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs, and developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) for students.

  • Lead the development and implementation of our SEND strategy, ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Manage and coordinate provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs, including supporting teachers in identifying and meeting individual student needs.
  • Develop and implement IEPs and EHCPs for students, working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to teachers and support staff to enhance their understanding of SEN and effective classroom strategies.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to foster an inclusive school culture that meets the needs of all students.
  • Liaise with external agencies, including educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, and local authorities, to coordinate additional support.
  • Lead annual reviews of EHCPs and ensure that statutory requirements are met.
  • Proven experience in working with students with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
  • A strategic thinker who is committed to inclusion and promoting positive outcomes for all learners.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.

We offer a competitive salary of £230,000 - £300,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for further professional development and leadership growth.
