We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Building Consultant to join our team at NHBC. As a Technical Building Consultant, you will play a crucial role in reviewing housing development plans and providing technical advice to housebuilders and their design teams.
Key Responsibilities- Review and check technical submissions from customers to ensure compliance with NHBC standards.
- Project coordinate and manage the input of other specialists within the risk management project team.
- Engage, influence, and negotiate with developers and their design teams.
- Carry out limited site inspection work, as required, to support inspectors, surveyors, and engineers in the project team.
- Minimum of three years of construction or housing building experience, involving technical building-related work, with a range of customers/clients from a housing background.
- Full U.K. Driving Licence.
- Chartered membership of an appropriate professional institution or working towards, or a Building/Construction related Degree or equivalent qualifications.
- Familiar with I.T. systems and software.
- 27 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and a holiday purchase scheme.
