Workman LLP is seeking a highly skilled Building Surveying Consultant to join its experienced team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate their expertise in building surveying, with a strong understanding of contract administration, project management, and dilapidations. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

A key aspect of this role will be working closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, providing expert advice and support to deliver high-quality results. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices, is also crucial.

In terms of specific responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Manage multiple building surveying instructions simultaneously for key clients;
  • Provide regular client updates and progress reports;
  • Deliver high-quality project outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations;
  • Work closely with landlords and tenants on ESG initiatives;
  • Assist in developing less experienced team members and take on leadership roles when necessary;
  • Motivate and manage a small team of surveyors from apprentice to senior levels.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
