Technical Building Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Building Specialist to join our team at NHBC. As a Technical Building Specialist, you will play a crucial role in reviewing housing development plans and providing technical advice to housebuilders and their design teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and check technical submissions from customers to ensure they comply with NHBC standards.
- Project co-ordinating and managing the input of other specialists within the risk management project team.
- Engage, influence, and negotiate with developers and their design teams.
- Carry out limited site inspection work, as required, to support inspectors, surveyors, and engineers in the project team.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the willingness to assist customers and colleagues.
- A minimum of three years of construction or housing building experience, which has involved technical building-related work, with a range of customers/clients from a housing background.
- Familiar with I.T. systems and software.
