About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to join our team at Compass, working on the Birmingham MHST (Wave 12) initiative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing, developing, and leading our new service, which aims to provide early interventions for children and young people in educational settings and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of professionals in delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.
- Work closely with the operational Service Manager to implement and develop the new service.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educational settings and health and care providers.
- Ensure the service is delivered in line with national guidelines and best practices.
About You
We are looking for a values-driven leader with a passion for supporting children and young people with mental health needs. You will have a strong background in mental health, with a core professional qualification (nursing, psychology) and post-graduate training in CBT. You will also have experience of working in a relevant children and young people's community setting and be able to demonstrate leadership skills, including the ability to delegate and supervise staff.
