About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Coding Manager to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a senior clinical coding professional, you will be responsible for leading the Clinical Coding Team and ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent clinical coding services.

The successful candidate will hold the nationally recognized ACC qualification in clinical coding and have a minimum of 7 years' experience in coding. You will provide expertise on complex queries, undertake direct coding workload, and maintain Advanced Clinical Coder status.

Key responsibilities include line managing the Clinical Coding Team, co-ordinating and supervising training, and promoting continuous improvement in data quality. You will also investigate and correct coded clinical data rejected or queried by recipient information systems.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • ACC - Accreditation of Clinical Coders qualification
  • 7 years' experience in clinical coding is essential
  • Experience of management would be useful but not essential
