The Education Workforce Council is the independent, professional regulator for the education workforce in Wales.

Working as part of a small team, the Accreditation and Quality Officer will provide administrative expertise and support to the Initial Teacher Accreditation (ITE) Board and service area. This includes making practical arrangements for assessments, distributing papers, taking minutes, producing reports, organizing Board reviews, developing procedures, and being the main point of contact for Board members, ITE partnerships, and other key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, experience handling varied enquiries, note-taking at formal meetings, and managing stakeholder relationships. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.

Estimated salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
