Climate Change Expertise

We are seeking a Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant to join our Air Quality & Climate Change team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in climate change mitigation analysis, whole life carbon assessment, and circular economy.

The role will involve working with the Team's Director to provide project delivery of climate change assessments at a major project level. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful projects and will be able to contribute to the development of business area strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical expertise in one or more of the following fields: climate change mitigation analysis, whole life carbon assessment, circular economy, low carbon technologies and energy efficiency, climate change adaptation, greenhouse gas emissions inventories/analysis, carbon models/tools.
  2. Help grow and develop the wider team.
  3. Consultancy requires knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies.
  4. Educated to degree level in a relevant field with further degree or professional qualification advantageous.
  5. Specialism in one or more key climate change fields, and/or experience in EIA consultancy for built environment and infrastructure.
  6. Experience of managing and taking responsibility for delivering successful projects of different sizes.
  7. Strong networking capability and a well-developed network of contacts.
  8. Confidence, excellent written and oral communication skills, energy and enthusiasm, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
