Programme Manager - £850/day via Umbrella Company – Manchester (Hybrid) – 5 Months Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of an Innovation digital transformation programme. Experience in the utility sector may be an advantage.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate finances at all times for the change initiatives.
  • Commercially manage delivery partners, including procurement, negotiation, and holding them to account.
  • Be accountable for organisational change management across assigned business capability areas.
  • Lead organisational change activities to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
  • Have overall responsibility for championing the realisation of benefits.
  • Ensure goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives and the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Lead and manage the programme team, developing and delivering a programme and its suite of projects for assigned business capabilities using an appropriate methodology.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a current IT business-facing project with a value over £3.0m.
  • Proven experience and an excellent track record of working in a Business. Change/IT environment, including management of a programme.
  • Hold a PRINCE2, PMI, MSP, Agile or similar qualification.
  • Be experienced in managing multi-skilled teams operating in a matrix management environment.
  • The ability to provide effective and clear reporting to senior management.
