About the Position

We are seeking an exceptional Community Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert care and support for individuals with mental health conditions.

The successful candidate will have GMC registration and inclusion on the specialist register in Mental Health or Specialty Trainees within 6 months of completing CCT. You will also participate in providing postgraduate training to junior doctors and undergraduate education for medical students.

With a focus on building relationships and supporting GPs working within their allocated Primary Care Network, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of mental health services in our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care and support for patients with severe and complex mental health problems
  • Work closely with Neighbourhood Leads to align psychiatrists with Primary Care Networks and take the medical lead for assessment and treatment of patients from those areas
  • Participate in the development of innovative service models that improve patient outcomes and experience
