Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist

This Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist role requires an experienced Occupational Therapist to develop and provide effective occupational therapy services for adults with mental health issues in a rehabilitation unit.
Main Duties:- Develop, provide, and evaluate occupational therapy, contribute to the therapeutic environment, and work with residents to identify and achieve their goals.
- Lead occupational therapy development, provision, and evaluation in a rehabilitation setting, ensuring it contributes to users' recovery and preparation for discharge.
- Assess users' functional ability, interaction, and emotional regulation, using occupational therapy assessment tools.
To be successful, you will need a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy, specialist knowledge of OT assessments and interventions, and experience working within mental health settings.
