Job Description:Market Research Associate Role

This role will suit someone who is seeking to develop a career in a business development or relationship management/marketing role within our Structured Finance team.

  • We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the EMEA Structured Finance BRM Team in various ad hoc requests including preparing engagement letters, updating contacts database and monthly reporting and KPIs analysis.
  • Liaise with internal teams such as Accounts and Legal to assist in dealing with open billing queries and contractual changes requested by clients.

In addition to supporting the day-to-day activities of the SF BRM team, the successful candidate will also be responsible for contributing to the analysis of securitisation market data using systems such as LCD News, Creditsights and Concept ABS.

The ideal candidate will have a strong/Advanced Excel skills with demonstrable knowledge of data research and analysis, showing excellent attention to detail.

  • Affinity to work with market data systems such as Bloomberg would be advantageous.
  • Budgeting and financial reporting experience is advantageous.

This role requires the ability to work independently to deadlines within a strategic framework, with supervision and guidance from senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the EMEA Structured Finance BRM Team in various ad hoc requests.
  • Liaise with internal teams such as Accounts and Legal.
  • Contribute to the analysis of securitisation market data using systems such as LCD News, Creditsights and Concept ABS.
  • Monitor market activity and identify trends relevant to Fitch Rating's commercial efforts.
  • Prepare pitch books, quarterly market share slides and other marketing materials as required to support the SF BRM team's marketing efforts.

About You:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of preparing marketing materials using Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.
  • Strong/Advanced Excel skills with demonstrable knowledge of data research and analysis, showing excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English and one European foreign language (French or German preferable).
  • Ability to work independently to deadlines within a strategic framework, with supervision and guidance from senior team members.
