About the Job Description

This role involves working with young people aged 16-21 who are care leavers or looked after children. The Support Worker will provide emotional and practical support to help them develop life skills and achieve their goals.

The job description includes:

  • Supporting young people in developing life skills.
  • Encouraging participation in education, training, and employment activities.
  • Working with external partners to maximize opportunities for our clients.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, adhering to organizational standards.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of our young people, adhering to safeguarding procedures.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Requirements:

  • A clear passion for working with homeless individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of benefits systems and tenancy legislation (desirable).
