Job Title: Health and Safety Business Partner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Business Partner to join our team at Northumbrian Water Group (NWG). As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our aspiration of ensuring every employee goes home safe at the end of each day.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and leadership to ensure that health and safety practices are effectively and pragmatically integrated into daily situations. You will work closely with stakeholders, leading, motivating, and managing the performance of our H&S advisors, ensuring the business is supported in its high-hazard operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership on health and safety matters
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure health and safety practices are integrated into daily situations
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the performance of H&S advisors
  • Ensure the business is supported in its high-hazard operations
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver world-class health and safety performance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in health and safety management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the business
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
