About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT and Digital Education Specialist to join our team at Think FE Ltd. As an IT Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Learning
    • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students studying L2 IT, Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in IT, and Level 3 (T Level) Qualification in Digital and IT
    • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
  • Curriculum Development
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curriculum changes and industry standards
    • Contribute to the development of new courses and programs
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
    • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Holds a degree-level qualification in IT or a high-level vocational qualification (ideally Level 4 or higher)
  • Experience
    • Experienced in delivering Level 2-3 IT courses within a Further Education (FE) setting
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Possesses a teaching qualification as a minimum requirement
    • Strong knowledge of the IT industry and current digital technologies
