**Job Role:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Assistant to join our team at an alternative provision in Plymouth. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with challenging behaviors, helping them to develop life skills and learning strategies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide one-to-one support to students, engaging them in their work and promoting academic achievement.
  • Assist students in developing life skills, including personal, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a personalized thematic curriculum tailored to each student's needs.

**Requirements:**

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Education (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience working with students with challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to drive and access to a vehicle (for transporting students).
