Drayton Village Care Centre is a purpose-built home in West London's latest Garden city, offering first-class care for residents with 91 beds. Our home is part of a thriving community with open spaces, public parks, and tree-lined boulevards.

Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Activities Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in building friendships with our residents, delivering high-quality care, and maintaining good communication levels with our Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef, and relatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with residents to help them adjust to life in a care home.
  • Deliver a high level of personal and psychological care to all residents in a professional manner.
  • Maintain good communication levels with Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef, and relatives to ensure smooth operation of the role and high levels of co-operation.
  • Complete records where required to a satisfactory standard, agreeing the type and quantity of record-keeping with the Manager on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain client, staff, and business confidentiality at all times.
  • Plan daytime and evening activities.
  • Maintain an awareness of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Coordinate the activities program with other services in the facility and create a monthly planner.
  • Encourage resident participation in activities and document outcomes, being aware of residents' hobbies and interests and assisting them to pursue these by creating resident profiles.
  • Work individually and within the team to provide the necessary backup for all staff, to a standard commensurate with the aims and objectives of the Home and in consideration of its residents.
