Care Coordinator

Right at Home is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the daily communications and care scheduling of our site.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day Client/Care Assistant communication
- Manage scheduling to enable Care Assistants to spend allocated care time with each Client and allow for travel time
- Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally, dealing with enquiries or queries
- Communicate changes to Client or Care Assistant needs and availability to relevant parties quickly and effectively
- Log complaints and Care Assistant feedback and enquiries using the correct procedure
- Manage Care Assistant expectations by maintaining clear lines of communication and building a strong working relationship
- Record new Care Assistants and Clients on the system as soon as received
- Report weekly on recruitment needs, gaps in rotas, risks, Care Assistant availability, and concerns to Registered Manager and Owner
- Identify and match suitable Care Assistants for each package
- Produce consistent, fortnightly rosters and provide Care Assistants and Clients with rotas in a timely manner
- Accurately monitor and record Care Assistant holiday, sickness, and absences
- Experience in a customer service setting, building relationships - Essential
- Use of a scheduling/HR/recording system - Desirable
- Relevant qualification, such as Business Studies or Social Care - Desirable
- Previous Domiciliary Care experience - Desirable
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills, including proficient use of MS Office, and ability to produce reports
- Self-motivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an on-call system for out-of-office hours
- Extremely well-organized, with excellent planning and prioritizing ability and high attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships
- Strong administration skills and ability to manage multiple workloads
