About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Shift Leader at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and supporting your colleagues to deliver a great shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead from the front, setting a great example for your colleagues and ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Take ownership of running duty shifts, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Be there for customers, listening to their needs and helping to resolve any issues.
  • Look for ways to improve service, including coaching your colleagues and providing feedback to the team.
  • Maintain a great understanding of how your store is performing, and assist managers in delivering any actions that help improve the running of the store.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for increases based on location and skills. We also offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility to work fewer hours if needed. Our Shift Leaders are valued members of our team, and we're committed to supporting their development and growth.
