Job Title: Children and Young People Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children and Young People Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people aged 5-18 who are experiencing mental health issues. As a Children and Young People Mental Health Specialist, you will provide early support and intervention to help them overcome their challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 therapeutic mental health interventions with children and young people
  • Conduct group therapeutic interventions with children and their families
  • Deliver training and workshops to increase mental health awareness within educational settings
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide a comprehensive support system for children and young people
  • Monitor and record outcome measures for children's emotional wellbeing
Requirements
  • Education Mental Health Practitioner or Children's Wellbeing Practitioner qualification
  • Registered with the BABCP or BPS as a CWP or EMHP
  • Teaching qualification
  • Youth Mental Health First Aid trained
