Job Overview

Birmingham City Women Football Club is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our Academy team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide comprehensive medical care and support for our U10-U14 players.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medical Care and Support: Provide high-quality medical care to all academy players, ensuring their health and well-being throughout the season.
  • Injury Management: Conduct thorough assessments, accurate diagnoses, and develop effective treatment plans for injured players.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with coaches, trainers, and other medical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Education and Awareness: Educate players, parents, and staff on injury prevention, concussion protocols, and return-to-play procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A degree in Sports Therapy or a related field.
  • Fully qualified FA Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) certification.
  • DBS clearance and valid membership with a relevant governing body.
  • Proven experience working with young athletes and treating sports injuries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - 35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible working hours, pro-rata holiday entitlement, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
