Youth Football Development Director

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our Academy leadership team as a Youth Football Development Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive youth football development strategy that aligns with the goals and objectives of Birmingham City Women's Football Club.

The role will involve working closely with the Head of Coaching and Lead Phase Coach to design and implement a comprehensive goalkeeping syllabus, as well as providing coaching support to the foundation goalkeeper coach and mentoring student coaches.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to make a real impact on the development of our young players and contribute to the success of Birmingham City Women's Football Club.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive youth football development strategy that aligns with the goals and objectives of Birmingham City Women's Football Club
  • Work closely with the Head of Coaching and Lead Phase Coach to design and implement a comprehensive goalkeeping syllabus
  • Provide coaching support to the foundation goalkeeper coach and mentor student coaches
  • Attend fixtures and training sessions, participate in squad selection meetings, and manage the match minutes of the goalkeepers
  • Represent Birmingham City Women's Football Club professionally at all times
Requirements
  • UEFA A Licence – Outfield
  • Experience working in the professional game
  • FA Safeguarding certification
  • Ability to deliver high-quality coaching sessions
  • Strong relationship-building skills
