Finance Officer - Purchase Ledger

We are seeking an experienced financial professional to join our dynamic team on a temporary to permanent basis at Insight Select. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Purchase Ledger and be immediately available to start.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process all supplier invoices on the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee timely payment runs, meeting deadlines for weekly and monthly payments, and maintaining a high level of financial compliance.
  • Complete accurate monthly statement reconciliations, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Act as primary point of contact for finance and accounting queries, offering exceptional customer service and support.
  • Provide guidance and assistance with Accounts Payable and Receivable practices across the business, promoting best practices and standardization.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of £12.50-£15.50 per hour salary for this position reflects the company's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger role is essential, with a generalist finance/accountancy background required.
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience is highly desirable, but a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
