Job Title: Cafe Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our cafe operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a small team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
  • Ensure all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Manage inventory levels, placing orders for stock as needed to maintain optimal levels.
  • Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as required, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Produce weekly rotas, following manager guidelines to ensure efficient scheduling.
  • Delegating tasks to team members, promoting a proactive and supportive work environment.
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations, maintaining a secure and hazard-free workspace.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a wide range of team members and customers.
  • Able to comply with legislation and follow all rules and regulations laid down in the staff handbook and unit policy statements.
  • Customer service focused, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude, able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Takes pride in personal appearance and hygiene, with a strong focus on maintaining a professional image.
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
