Job Title: Kitchen Team Leader

Plateful Cafe is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and training staff, ensuring compliance with health and hygiene regulations, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe, including opening and closing the building, organizing chefs, and ensuring food service and preparation follows health and hygiene regulations.
  • Hire and onboard new staff and volunteers, and provide training on food preparation and proper use of equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and order supplies as needed.
  • Provide guidance to staff on handling client issues and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy and maintain a safe and supportive environment for volunteers and customers.
Requirements:
  • Work experience as a Kitchen Manager with hands-on experience in professional catering equipment.
  • Experience in Training staff.
  • Availability to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Customer service attitude.
