Job Summary

H9 HR & Professional Services is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) efforts. As the Head of EDI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's culture and ensuring that EDI and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive EDI and wellbeing strategies aligned with our organizational goals. This will involve leading and managing a team of EDI and wellbeing professionals, collaborating with senior leadership to foster a culture of inclusion and wellbeing, and representing the organization at external events and conferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EDI and wellbeing strategies that promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for all staff and volunteers.
  • Lead and manage a team of EDI and wellbeing professionals to ensure the successful implementation of EDI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to foster a culture of inclusion and wellbeing, and to ensure that EDI and wellbeing are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs to promote awareness and understanding of EDI and wellbeing issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate EDI and wellbeing metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent the organization at external events and conferences to promote our EDI and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Advise on policies and procedures related to EDI and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in leading EDI and wellbeing initiatives in a complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of EDI and wellbeing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
