Group Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Job Summary
The Group Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a critical role at Legal & General, responsible for driving the organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy. This individual will lead the development and implementation of initiatives that promote a culture of belonging, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive DEI strategy that aligns with Legal & General's business objectives.
- Lead the DEI team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of DEI initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive sponsors and divisional leaders to drive business outcomes through DEI.
- Design and implement programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, including employee resource groups, training, and development initiatives.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of DEI initiatives.
- Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful DEI strategies in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and managing budgets.
- Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience working in a financial services or complex, regulated environment.
