About the Job

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Support Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with adults with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum disorder, providing them with the support and care they need to live fulfilling lives.

As a Support Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day support, including assisting with personal care, promoting independence, and contributing to the creation of Care and Support plans. You will work as part of a team to ensure that our service users receive the highest level of care and support.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. If you have a strong desire to support vulnerable adults and are able to work flexibly, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum disorder
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
  • Encourage independence and promote choice and control
  • Contribute to creating and implementing Care and Support plans

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum disorder
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
