At Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, we are seeking an exceptional Mental Health Team Lead to join our dynamic CAMHS Learning Disability Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the assessment and treatment of children and young people with complex needs.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who can enhance our learning and development within Positive Behaviour Support, Intensive Interaction, and augmentative communication.

The successful candidate will have experience in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities who display behaviours of concern. They will be able to work a shift pattern of early and late shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, to meet the needs of our patients in a timely manner.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and have excellent leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team in assessing and developing plans to improve quality of life for patients with complex needs
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective interventions and strategies
  • Developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans to reduce behaviours of concern
