About the Role

We are seeking a qualified mental health nurse or practitioner to join our CAMHS Young Peoples Team, providing specialist care to young people aged up to 18 years old.

The successful candidate will have a solid core knowledge of mental illness and associated risk, taking lead professional role in assessing and guiding care.

The team provides comprehensive mental health assessment, treatment, and diagnosis for those presenting with moderate to severe mental illness.

We welcome applications from experienced mental health professionals who can offer support to further develop skills in therapeutic models of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have a thorough understanding of mental health disorders and their impact on individuals
  • Be responsible for own clinical caseload and take lead professional role in assessments and care planning
  • Offer comprehensive assessment and management of mental ill health
  • Deliver high-quality mental health care to individuals with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Contribute to training and development opportunities for partner agencies
