About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse to join our dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Outpatient Team as a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse.
This exciting opportunity involves working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions to children and young people affected by moderate to severe mental health difficulties and/or neurodiversity.
You will work closely with Psychiatrists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, Healthcare Support Workers, and Peer Support Workers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Main Duties- To conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments/treatments for children and young people, considering family, mental health needs, risk, and signposting.
- To collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to determine the most suitable pathway and care for each individual.
- Liaise with other agencies and facilitate student learning and shadowing opportunities.
We estimate that this role comes with a salary of £38,890-£44,828 per annum, depending on experience.
