Job Overview

As a SIPP Administration Specialist - Pension Services, you will play a critical role in our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our pension administration services. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process SIPP transfer out requests efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage new business applications from start to finish, guaranteeing timely completion.
  • Handle transfers-in and investment applications with precision and care.
  • Administer PCLS payments for clients in retirement, ensuring seamless processing.
  • Process regular and ad-hoc payments for clients in retirement, adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of a SIPP, from transfers to retirements, guaranteeing flawless execution.
  • Perform complex technical calculations as required.
  • Process investment withdrawals for one-off and regular payments to members on time.
  • Utilize Sage Payroll to calculate tax accurately and efficiently.
  • Engage with HMRC online services to process income tax.
  • Maintain timely communication with advisers and members regarding any issues with member requests.
  • E nsure all requests are tracked until completion.
  • Participate in departmental projects, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Administer other aspects of SIPP and SSAS workload, including portfolios of properties.
  • Foster strong relationships with our advisers and clients, delivering exceptional service and communication.
  • Maintain full compliance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Enhance and/or maintain Quality Assurance across all areas of your work.
  • Incorporate risk management into all aspects of your work.
  • Effectively resolve complaints and concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate strong SIPP knowledge and experience.
  • Contribute positively to our wider business success within the group.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Display strong attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Possess excellent numerical and customer service skills.
  • Show understanding of SIPP rules and ability to perform drawdown calculations, bereavement benefit calculations, and divorce calculations.
  • Able to comprehend investment transactions, including identifying non-standard investments.
  • Understand pension rules and perform drawdown calculations, bereavement benefit calculations, and divorce calculations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
