Job Summary

The Operational Excellence Lead plays a pivotal role in driving a culture of continuous improvement at CSL, supporting senior leaders and colleagues to prioritize business objectives. They provide guidance to team members on implementing sustained enhancements using lean methodologies, while overseeing critical improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Facilitate continuous improvement programs to drive business growth.
  • Coach and assist senior leaders in achieving business objectives, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Support the implementation of the CSL Operating System and its initiatives within key functions, ensuring adherence to COS plans and KPIs.
  • Contribute to global Operational Excellence initiatives, facilitating cross-site knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice standards, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Qualifications

  • Extensive stakeholder management experience, with a strong background in lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
  • Effective coaching and mentoring skills, with a proven track record of developing local leaders.
  • Skilled trainer with significant Project Management experience, able to drive change and improvement initiatives.
  • Proven Change Management expertise, with a passion for continuous improvement and a willingness to challenge conventions.
  • Familiarity with modern manufacturing techniques, including IT systems and tools such as Microsoft Office, Power BI, and MRP systems like SAP.
  • University degree in a relevant discipline, with fluency in written and oral English, and German proficiency a plus.
