Professional Indemnity Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Professional Indemnity Lawyer to join our National Professional Indemnity team in London. As a leading city insurance firm, we offer a dynamic and challenging environment for ambitious lawyers to further their careers.

About the Role

This Professional Indemnity Lawyer role involves managing a diverse caseload, including defending civil liability claims, advising on regulatory and disciplinary matters, and focusing on complex disputes and advisory work within the Financial Conduct Authority-regulated space.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Defend civil liability claims and advise on regulatory and disciplinary matters
  • Manage a broad-ranging caseload, including solicitors, accountants, and wealth-managers
  • Focus on complex disputes and advisory work, often within the Financial Conduct Authority-regulated space
Requirements
  • At least 4 years PQE
  • Experience of coverage disputes and advisory matters in the financial, professional, and management lines sectors
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority Regulation and Financial Ombudsman Service procedure
  • Contacts in the insurance market
  • Secondment to an insurance broker would be advantageous
