Professional Indemnity Lawyer Opportunity

H&P Executive Search is seeking a highly skilled Professional Indemnity Lawyer to join its market-leading Claims team, specializing in Professional and Financial Lines claims.

This role is available in either the London or Manchester office and offers a unique opportunity to manage a diverse and challenging caseload, working closely with customers, internal partners, and external vendors.

As a Professional Indemnity Lawyer, you will be responsible for investigating and managing claims, developing strategies, and setting reserves to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will provide legal assistance to insured clients, negotiate settlements, and ensure that vendors deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage claims and conduct early investigations
  • Develop and implement strategies for claims resolution
  • Negotiate claim settlements and ensure optimal service delivery from vendors
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, risk management, and actuarial teams

Requirements:

  • Legal Degree / LLB (or equivalent)
  • Experience in handling Financial Lines claims, particularly Solicitors' professional negligence
