Children's Wellbeing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children's Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Primary Intervention Team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide holistic assessments, interventions, and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people's mental health needs, including risk assessments and planning.
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment programs, working collaboratively with families and professionals.
- Provide specialist consultation and support to families and professionals through our Single Point of Access (SPA) service.
- Contribute to the assessment of referrals into the service and determine the most appropriate treatment approach.
- Offer support and supervision to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Therapies (IAPT) or equivalent qualification.
- Substantial experience working with children and young people, including voluntary work or expertise gained through experience of mental health problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong therapeutic relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage a caseload, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
