Children's Wellbeing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children's Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Primary Intervention Team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide holistic assessments, interventions, and support.
Main Responsibilities- Hold a caseload of children and young people, providing assessments, risk assessments, and planning.
- Contribute to the delivery of short-term individualized treatment programs.
- Work within the CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) to provide specialist consultation and support to families and professionals.
- Assess referrals and determine the appropriate treatment approach for each case.
- Offer support and supervision to team members.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Therapies (IAPT) or equivalent qualification.
- Substantial mental health working experience, including voluntary work or expertise gained by experience of mental health problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone skills.
- Able to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Demonstrates an understanding of mild to moderate mental health problems, including anxiety and depression, and how it may present in Primary Care.
