Job Title: Chef De Partie

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our team at a busy café in Guildford. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes from scratch, working closely with the team to ensure daily and weekly prep is completed, and maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes from scratch using fresh ingredients
  • Work closely with the team to ensure daily and weekly prep is completed
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety systems
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of kitchen experience with strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills
  • Great work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Genuine passion for food and consistently high standards
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong team-player with ability to follow instructions and build good rapport with the kitchen team and front of house staff

Working Hours: 40 hours/week between 8am-4pm Tuesday-Saturday, with days off on Sunday & Monday
