About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Security Officer to join our team at ICTS Europe. As a Relief Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of people and premises at a large, busy hospital Trust in Epsom and Carshalton.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrolling and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the hospital buildings to deter and detect potential security threats.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to and manage emergencies, including fire evacuation, conflict management, and physical intervention.
  • Access Control: Manage access control for employees, visitors, patients, and contractors, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas.
  • Health and Safety: Identify and report Health & Safety issues, and provide first aid if necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incidents, including incident reports and daily occurrence logs, using computer-based systems.
  • Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, and write detailed reports, liaising with police and other third parties as necessary.
Requirements
  • SIA License: Hold a valid SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license.
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Pressure Management: Be able to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Public Interaction: Be dynamic and able to interact effectively with the public.
  • Experience: Have previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security.
