Project Manager, Engineering

Job Summary

Skyworks is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Engineering team in delivering high-performance analog semiconductors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing NPI customer-focused programs from kick-off to production release. Your expertise in project management, leadership, and technical skills will drive our team's success in meeting customer specifications, cost targets, and critical milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chair weekly development team meetings to ensure cross-functional collaboration and progress tracking
  • Resolve technical issues to ensure product compliance and robustness against customer and internal specifications
  • Drive critical path schedule tasks and risk mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery
  • Support customer interaction with Product Line Management, Marketing, Customer Quality, and other functional leads
  • Ensure compliance to our product development process through internal and external audits
  • Present project updates to senior management and other functional leads within the BU/Operations/Quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or MBA with 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in an NPI environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and retention skills for critical information
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a matrixed organization
  • Team player with a passion to win/contribute and a results-focused attitude
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members to establish efficient systems of operation
  • Strong knowledge of MS Tools, including Project, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SAP, Planview PPM Pro, or Oracle's Agile PLM software is a plus

What We Offer

Skyworks offers a competitive salary range of $87,600 - $167,900 per year, depending on relevant experience and skills. We also provide access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and other benefits. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan and certain roles are eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
