Actual Annual Salary: £5,787.80 to £6, under 5 Years of Service

About the RoleMinerva Learning Trust is an expanding Sheffield-based multi-academy Trust with a vision of providing outstanding education for all students within our schools. We are passionate about delivering the best possible pastoral care for our 6,000 children and young people.
We are seeking a motivated and engaging individual to join our Central Team as a School Counsellor/Play Therapist. This role will involve supporting students, including primary-aged students, who are experiencing emotional, social, and mental health challenges.
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, forward-thinking, caring, and experienced professional with a track record of successfully supporting vulnerable young people and families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a high-quality counselling service across all Trust schools to children experiencing a wide range of emotional, social, and mental health challenges.
- Work closely with the Director of School Improvement-Inclusion and school leaders to achieve our mission of delivering the best possible pastoral care for all our students.
- Support students, including primary-aged students, in a one-to-one and small group setting.
- Be an effective communicator, team player, and have experience of delivering training and support to other colleagues.
- Be a member of the Trust's Central Team and join a strong and dynamic team of professionals across our organisation.
- Be supported through a comprehensive professional development programme.
- Be provided with excellent career opportunities.
