Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing excellent service, and ensuring that their insurance needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  2. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  3. Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate with insurers to obtain favorable terms for clients and communicate effectively to ensure seamless policy renewals and adjustments.
  4. Policy Management: Assist with policy renewals, adjustments, and cancellations to ensure clients' insurance needs are met.
  5. Expert Advice: Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on their insurance needs, staying informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.
  6. Claims Handling: Handle client queries and claims promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to clients' businesses.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler within the insurance industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively within a team.
  5. Good understanding of insurance market trends and regulations.
  6. Relevant certifications or qualifications would be advantageous.
