Job Description:

We are currently representing a reputable broker in the Southampton area that is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their dynamic team. As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing excellent service, and ensuring that their insurance needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial clients
  2. Conducting thorough client risk assessments
  3. Negotiating with insurers to obtain favorable terms for clients
  4. Assisting with policy renewals and adjustments
  5. Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on their insurance needs
  6. Handling client queries and claims promptly and efficiently

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler within the insurance industry
  2. Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  4. Ability to work effectively within a team
  5. Good understanding of insurance market trends and regulations
  6. Relevant certifications or qualifications would be advantageous
