Job Description

Pertemps Scotland is recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team in a contact centre environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Telephone Handling: Receive and respond to incoming calls from customers, providing accurate and timely information and assistance.
  • Call Routing: Redirect internal and external calls to the appropriate departmental extensions as required.
  • Enquiry Management: Receive, register, and record details of customer enquiries accurately, and provide assistance in completion of forms as needed.
  • Information Provision: Maintain accurate information on services and provide it to customers as required.
  • System Maintenance: Regularly review and update information held to ensure customer enquiries are dealt with accurately and efficiently.
  • Technical Support: Carry out daily and weekly programming of the ACCESSLine voicemail system.
  • Web Chat Support: Deal with customer enquiries via web chat.
  • Transaction Processing: Receive and deal with telephone debit/credit card transactions in respect of services provided.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer care skills and experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to change.
  • Initiative: Can use initiative to resolve customer enquiries efficiently.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent IT skills, good keyboard speed, and experience of Microsoft packages.
  • Communication Skills: Experience of dealing with the public and providing clear and concise information.
