Darwin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security System Design Lead to join their team in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced systems engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge security technology that powers essential government and defense communications.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the systems engineering lifecycle, defining requirements, designing architecture, and ensuring coherence across hardware, software, FPGA, and mechanical disciplines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system design aligns with overall project goals and every technical detail is covered.
  • Develop innovative, state-of-the-art solutions to secure sensitive data through high-profile projects for the UK government and NATO.
  • Prioritize problem-solving mindset and handle complexity with ease while managing bid activities and supporting technical delivery.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you'll need a strong background in systems engineering, with 5+ years of experience in the full systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, system design, and verification. Your technical expertise should span multiple disciplines, with particular strength in requirements engineering, UML/SysML, and DOORS.
